📢 Slack improvements

Hotpot's Slack integration now allows you to page directly from Slack via a slash command or even in response to a message.

Help is just a /page away.

This is in addition to existing functionality like synchronizing the current on-call folks with a Slack group.

🗓️ Suggested replacements

Hotpot's scheduler keeps things fair and healthy, but that doesn't stop life throwing you a curveball. Coverage allows you to grab someone else, but starting today Hotpot now suggests the best candidate for replacement.

Katelynn is the best choice for taking this coverage.

In the coming weeks we'll be improving this feature even more!

☎️ Paging improvements

When a page isn't handled by anyone, Hotpot still has a plan. It's a plan you can control per schedule. Today we've added support for "Page everyone" behavior and improved the ergonomics of the other strategies.

Don't give up, page everyone!

One snooze not enough? You can now snooze an already snoozed page. Catch those Zs!

Additionally, the page repeat interval setting now repeats within a given stage's notifications instead of just at the end of the escalation policy. If you prefer this to not happen, you can always set it to a number higher than the escalation time.
