Sometimes when you enter a moment into Hotpot you already know what group you'd like to add it to. Hotpot now allows specifying the group at moment creation time.
If you want to make an entirely new group you can do so by typing in a new name:
Additionally, moments have improved in the following ways:
Moments with titles that are both long and don't have obvious breakpoints have been visually improved.
Tag listings for moments and groups are now sorted.
Calls to action for preparation and handoff are now shown to any user, not just members of the team.
As Hotpot powers more and more teams, we're applying what we learn to Hotpot's scheduler. This week yielded a few refactors to improve maintenance and extensibility and some usability improvements for you!
Our summarization feature is now more clear about why an individual was chosen to be on-call in a given week. Hotpot now explains why the person was chosen over other teammates more thoroughly.
When coverage and other factors are involved in a schedule the line items can be verbose. Hotpot now compacts adjacent segments for the same person, resulting in a much more compact view. We've also improved the readability and looks of Slack and email notifications.
Hotpot's scheduler is now more resilience to archived teams and disabled schedules.
Backend: Integrations are now capable of creating multiple moments from a single webhook.
Moments: We've revamped the charting used for visualizing moments, as well as added the ability to download CSVs of searches. Ping us for more details!
Team: The summary page for a team and it's current stints have had a few bugfixes and tweaks.
UI: The schedule hints for shadows now show up in dark mode.
UI: The integrations listing has been improved in dark mode.
UI: The calendar schedule view has been improved for some weirdly shaped months.
